The Cabinet Secretary agreed to review the report of the UK assessment panel of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, cited by Simon Thomas AM, and write to the Committee with her response on its contents.

6       Discussion of response to letter from the Llywydd regarding the implementation of the Wales Act 2017

The Committee agreed to respond to the letter to inform the Llywydd that the date of the principal appointed day (PAD) should be 1 April 2018, not 6 April 2018 as stated in the letter from the Secretary of State for Wales, if the PAD is to coincide with the coming into force of the reserved powers model.

The Committee discussed the report and agreed to launch it on Wednesday 26 July at the Royal Welsh Show.
